Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the manufacturing industry, including market segments, geographical regions, and target customers.
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, key stakeholders, and industry partners to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities in the manufacturing sector.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and finance, to execute business development initiatives and drive results.
- Lead the development of proposals, presentations, and other sales materials to effectively communicate the value proposition of our products and services.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize profitability and ensure long-term business partnerships.
- Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and best practices to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics, sales forecasts, and business development activities to senior management.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, conferences, and networking functions to promote our brand and expand our professional network.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or marketing roles within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, technologies, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to think strategically, analyze complex data, and develop innovative solutions to business challenges.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel as needed
