Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and commission automated systems according to client specifications and project requirements.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of automation equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to automation systems, including mechanical, electrical, and software components.
- Perform repairs and replacements of faulty parts or components, both on-site and remotely.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to identify opportunities for system improvements and enhancements.
- Provide training and technical support to clients and end-users on the operation and maintenance of automation systems.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including service reports, manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and trends in automation technology to continuously improve service delivery and support.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on-site or in the field.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience working with automation systems, including PLCs, SCADA, HMI, robotics, and other control systems.
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and software problems in industrial environments.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet project deadlines and customer needs.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Certification in relevant automation technologies (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) is a plus.
