Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and market trends within the manufacturing industry.
- Analyze competitors’ strategies and offerings to identify areas of opportunity and competitive advantage.
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target companies.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop customized solutions and proposals for clients.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Understand clients’ needs and requirements to provide appropriate solutions and services.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns in a timely manner.
- Strategic Planning:
- Work with the management team to develop strategic plans and goals for business development within the manufacturing sector.
- Identify areas for growth and develop strategies to capitalize on market opportunities.
- Sales Support:
- Assist the sales team in closing deals and achieving sales targets.
- Provide sales support through lead generation, proposal development, and client presentations.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends.
- Analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies and make recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industry trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
