Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and commission automated systems according to client specifications and project requirements.
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of automation equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to automation systems, including mechanical, electrical, and software components.
Perform repairs and replacements of faulty parts or components, both on-site and remotely.
Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to identify opportunities for system improvements and enhancements.
Provide training and technical support to clients and end-users on the operation and maintenance of automation systems.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including service reports, manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
Stay updated on the latest advancements and trends in automation technology to continuously improve service delivery and support.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on-site or in the field.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience working with automation systems, including PLCs, SCADA, HMI, robotics, and other control systems.
Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and software problems in industrial environments.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel to client sites as needed and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet project deadlines and customer needs.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Certification in relevant automation technologies (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) is a plus.
