Key Responsibilities:
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and market trends within the manufacturing industry.
Analyze competitors’ strategies and offerings to identify areas of opportunity and competitive advantage.
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities by networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target companies.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop customized solutions and proposals for clients.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
Understand clients’ needs and requirements to provide appropriate solutions and services.
Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns in a timely manner.
Strategic Planning:
Work with the management team to develop strategic plans and goals for business development within the manufacturing sector.
Identify areas for growth and develop strategies to capitalize on market opportunities.
Sales Support:
Assist the sales team in closing deals and achieving sales targets.
Provide sales support through lead generation, proposal development, and client presentations.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends.
Analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies and make recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the manufacturing industry.
