Responsibilities:
- Support the Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing automation projects from inception to completion.
- Assist in defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, operations, and maintenance, to ensure alignment and effective project execution.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
- Assist in managing project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Collaborate with vendors and external partners to procure necessary equipment, materials, and services for automation projects.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols throughout the project implementation process.
- Lead and mentor team members, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance automation processes, systems, and workflows.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including project plans, specifications, and technical reports.
- Support the Manager in stakeholder communication, reporting, and presentations on project status and achievements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in automation engineering or a related role, with at least 8 years of experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of automation systems, including PLCs, SCADA, robotics, and control systems.
- Previous experience in project management or leadership roles, with demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive results.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in automation and manufacturing.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership qualities such as accountability, adaptability, and resilience.
